G & B Finch New IVECO X-WAY Conversion is the envy of the road!

G & B Finch Ltd wanted to celebrate their 50th anniversary in style, and the family run business from Chelmsford didn’t cut any corners. They chose the IVECO X-WAY model to convert into something quite spectacular and the results are there for all to see.

The tough and reliable IVECO X-Way provided the great base vehicle, dubbed as the on and off road partner with various settings available to order from the factory. The G & B Finch chassis was ordered with ON+ setting – ensuring the vehicle is suitable for both on and off road missions. The Iveco X-Way AS440S57TZ 6×4 Model, is fuelled by a EURO VI 6 Cylinder Cursor 13 570BHP engine and has a 16 speed Hi-Tronix gearbox.

The conversion to a Strator took place at Charles Feijts overseas in the Netherlands and the vehicle is already starting to turn a few heads around the companies Chelmsford operating base. Steve Finch, Business Owner and Director of G & B Finch commented “I spent a lot of time getting the specification of this vehicle correct with the right powertrain, gearbox and axle ratios to complement the hub reduction axles, steel sprung rear suspension to operate at 150tons STGO”. “The vehicle looks and drives superbly and is an asset to our fleet of trucks”.
