Greens Decorating Contractors of Leeds have taken delivery of five new Fiat Doblo Cargo vans, supplied by Ian Henson of Northern Commercials in Brighouse. Greens have added 4 new LWB ‘maxi’ variants to the fleet as well as one SWB model all fitted with the frugal 1.3l diesel engine.

“We are very pleased with the new vehicles supplied by Northern Commercials. The ‘maxi’ variant of the new Fiat Doblo is proving to be perfect for our line of work providing excellent cargo space and payload in this class of vehicle.
Northern Commercials were a pleasure to deal with and were able to customise the vehicles to our specification before we took delivery. Ian arranged for a folding bench to be fitted in the back of the vehicles, providing seats for two additional operatives as well as fitting roof racks, protective seat covers and Bluetooth phone kits. The vehicles were also sign written and fitted with our GPS tracking equipment prior to delivery ensuring they were ready to go straight to work.
The Doblos are by far the most frugal vehicles in our mainly Transit van fleet and we have seen a significant reduction in fuel costs of approximately one third compared to the significantly less powerful vehicles that they replaced.
An excellent sales experience combined with a class leading vehicle mean that we will look forward to dealing with Northern Commercials again in the future.”
