Last week we continued our regular work in the community with a visit to Hollybank School in Mirfield to donate a batch of Easter eggs to the Trust.
Welcomed by children from Hollybank School, Steve Lahy from Northern Commercials arrived in an Iveco Daily van to donate a range of chocolate Easter eggs and a luxury hamper to the School. The Easter eggs and hamper were a contribution to the upcoming raffle Hollybank is organising to help raise funds for the charity.
Hollybank School is part of a unique organisation, Hollybank Trust, which helps children and adults with complex physical, medical and learning difficulties to have a better quality of life.
Nicky Doyle from Hollybank Trust commented: “We are delighted to receive this kind donation of Easter eggs from Northern Commercials. We often hold raffles to raise funds for the trust to continue developing our facilities, and with the help from Northern Commercials, we are able to use the donation as raffle prizes.”
Roger Peel, Dealer Principle at Northern Commercials added: “We specifically wanted to donate the Easter eggs to Hollybank School, as they work hard to care for children with disabilities. Hopefully our contribution to the School will help raise some additional funds for such a worthwhile cause.”
