Northern Commercials helps FTS Hatswell Grow

Northern Commercials, has further cemented its relationship with leading distribution company FTS Hatswell with the provision of two new Iveco Stralis Day Cabs.

Having already added four new Stralis vehicles at the end of 2010, FTS Hatswell returned to Northern Commercials to invest in two additional units as they continue to diversify and build its fleet. The relationship has blossomed since Northern Commercials arrived in the North West Market in April 2010, and have helped FTS Hatswell yet further develop its distribution service.

The requirement for the new vehicles stems from FTS Hatswell’s recent win of a 5 year contract with a leading blue chip client, meaning the distribution company required an alternative to the existing sleeper cabs in its fleet. Investing in the two Iveco Stralis Day Cabs from Northern Commercials, means their sleeper cabs can be put to better use for longer deliveries with the new units proving more efficient and effective for daily distribution contract work. As well as this, Northern Commercials will also provide ongoing maintain and service for the Iveco products.

Dave Rothwell at FTS Hatswell commented: “We chose to work with Northern Commercials as we have developed a good relationship with the company and can rely on them for a great service. Investing in the new units demonstrates the growth of the company, and we hope to use Northern Commercials in the future when we continue to build our fleet.”

With a growing fleet of over 50 vehicles and delivering nationally and internationally, FTS Hatswell specialise in food distribution, foods storage and the distribution of hazardous material on full load or a groupage basis.
