Dewsbury based Link Tyres have just taken delivery of three new Fiat Ducato Maxi Panel Vans. The vehicles were supplied by Northern Commercial’s Fiat Van Centre, Brighouse, West Yorkshire.
Mr Len Mellor, Managing Director of Link Tyres, says: “We have a good relationship with Northern Commercials and they have been providing vehicles to us for over a decade. The Fiat Ducato Maxi’s are ideal for us; they are economic, reliable and they offer a large amount of space with the ability to carry a heavy load.”
The new Ducato Maxi’s are equipped with 2.3 litre, Euro 5, 120bhp engines, which offer impressive fuel economy and low emissions. The long wheelbase Ducato Maxi’s are ideal for customers looking for a large amount of space without compromising on payload, with a load volume of 13m3, load length of 3.7m and a payload of 1,435kg.
The Ducato’s will add to Link Tyres’ already large fleet of Iveco Daily and Fiat’s Ducato Panel Vans, all supplied by Northern Commercials, which allow Link Tyres to provide mobile tyre fitting for both private and commercial vehicles throughout Yorkshire.
Link Tyres pride themselves on running a relatively new fleet to ensure they offer maximum reliability for their customers. Len Mellor says: “We generally change our vehicles every 4 to 5 years, which reduces the risk of breakdowns. It’s vital to us that we get to our customers as fast as possible and reliable vehicles are key to this.”
