Northern Commercials has been established for over 50 years and started as a family run business which through expansion and success is now part of a plc Group. The main business function is to sell new and used commercial vehicles from all five of their depots across the UK. We also offer other services such as parts, servicing and breakdown cover.

Due to increasing performance, we are currently recruiting for a Service Advisor working out of our dealership in London Road, Hildenborough.

Located at our Hildenborough site there is an opportunity that has come up for an individual to work within a busy Commercial Vehicle Service Department. As a proactive member of the dealership’s team, you will be required to contribute towards an efficient operation in the Service Department, always ensuring customer satisfaction. Can communicate in a courteous and professional manner at all levels. An eye for supporting customers’ needs and strong communication skills are paramount.

Main duties will include:

· Reporting to the Service Manager.

· Responsibilities, the day to day running of the Service Department.

· Working on various computer systems, SAP, ASSIST, IDM, APD, ANS & Time Management.

· Administrative duties.

· Speaking and liaising with customers by phone and email.

· Managing the Service Desk

· Liaising with internal staff to keep customers updated on their vehicles

The ideal candidate for this role will need to be enthusiastic and well organised. Having good computer skills and communication is required.

Previous service experience within the automotive industry and knowledge of Kerridge would be an advantage.

Working Hours:

Basic hours are Monday to Friday 08.00 – 18:00 with an hour lunch

Holiday entitlement:

The holiday entitlement will be 20 days annually with bank holidays and this goes up with time served.

  • Kerridge/Keyloop: 1 year (preferred)
